Skanska Property Poland to expand its Leasing & Asset Department

The increasing development of the office market in Katowice and Skanska Property Poland’s plans on future investments in the city, has prompted the company to expand its Leasing & Asset Department. At the end of July 2015, Tomasz Zydorek was appointed Leasing Negotiator for Region South at Skanska Property Poland. He will be responsible for the commercialization of the Silesia Business Park office complex.

With the appointment of a new employee, Skanska Property Poland’s Leasing & Asset Department team now stands at 18 people. Tomasz Zydorek will be responsible for the commercialization of Skanska’s office schemes developed in Katowice, the capital of the Upper Silesia region in Poland. He will be focusing on the Silesia Business Park office complex, where Skanska Property Poland has already leased 80% of space within building A and nearly 50% in building B. Furthermore, work on building C, the third of the four-building complex, has recently started.

Tomasz Zydorek has been involved in the commercial real estate market since 2007. Prior to joining Skanska Property Poland, he was appointed as Senior Associate of the Retail Agency at Colliers International going on to become Regional Office Manager in Katowice at the company’s Office Agency. During his professional career, he has cooperated with companies such as Deloitte, Ruch S.A., AVIVA, Sygnity, Provident, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Credit Agricole, PKO BP, T-Mobile and Samsung.
