“I am glad that we are purchasing this parcel which is special for Poznan. In the next few years, we will build a modern central development which will have a predominantly office function. It will comprise a new quality of office space in the center of Poznan and will fill the now disused space between Art Nouveau Wilda, Dworzec Główny railway station and heart of the city center. We strongly believe in the economic potential of Poznan and our investment is an answer to the business development climate that the city engenders. Furthermore, we want to continue supporting the rapid development of the business service sector. In recent years, the city's office supply has almost doubled and Poznan has become an attractive location for companies. We recognize this and want to invest further in the capital city of Wielkopolska region”, says Łukasz Kaleciński, Regional Director at Skanska Property Poland.

"This is another office project to be developed in Poznan by Skanska. Thanks to previous positive experiences and the trust the company has placed in the city , Skanska is now one of the biggest developers on the market. The project will be developed on the site of the old bus station and will be another step in the enhancement of business life in the center of Poznan. I am sure that this will result in establishing more attractive workplaces and entice new residents to the area as well. Furthermore, the transaction illustrates how attractive Poznan is to investors from the real estate industry who recognize the potential of the city", comments Jacek Jaśkowiak, Mayor of Poznan.

Skanska has been present as a construction company in Poznan since 2000. It established its developer activities in 2010 with the launch of the Malta House development, its first office investment in the city. The building was commissioned for use in 2013 and is almost entirely leased. Currently, the developer is developing its second investment – Maraton office building located on Królowej Jadwigi Street. It completion is scheduled for Q4 2016.
