Due to rapid development, PwC – one of the global advisory giants operating in 157 countries worldwide – has decided to extend its office space in Silesia Business Park in Katowice by over 2,000 sqm and plans to employ over 300 specialists. As a result, 100% of the leasable space in building A of the complex is leased now.
The PwC Service Delivery Center (Shared Services Centre) has been operating in Katowice for seven years. The unit provides services for clients from across the world in a number of areas including financial audit, taxes and back-office services. In 2014, the company relocated to Silesia Business Park complex leasing over half of Silesia Business Park's building A, the first of four buildings planned for the project. So far, over 1,000 specialists have been employed at the PwC's offices located on Chorzowska Street.
- We are planning to employ up to 200 additional specialists in our Shared Services Centre by the end of 2016 alone with another 100 specialists to be recruited later. We are especially looking for people proficient in English and German, open to acquiring both new abilities and experience in working in an international environment. Our offices in Silesia Business Park comprise comfortable and modern offices where everyone can find a work place which suits their respective working styles. Currently, PwC occupies 9,200 sqm at Chorzowska Street, being among Skanska’s top-tier partners.

For many years, PwC has had the reputation of being one of the most sought after employers. Currently, the company has eight regional offices, a Service Delivery Center (SDC) in Katowice and a Center of Excellence in Gdańsk. PwC’s units in Poland already employ over 3,500 specialists. At the beginning of September 2016, PwC Service Delivery Center increased its presence in southern Poland by launching an office in Opole.
Currently, Skanska is working on the third building of Silesia Business Park complex, which will be delivered to market by the end of 2016.
