Baker McKenzie Krzyżowski i Wspólnicy, one of the largest law firms in Poland, is moving into its new headquarters in Lodz. The firm chose Brama Miasta, an award-winning office complex developed by Skanska where it will operate on over 500 sqm of modern space. The law firm will move into Brama Miasta next March.

Brama Miasta

Baker McKenzie is one of the largest and most popular international law firms. For ten years now it has been recognized as the strongest legal brand in the world, according to the Acritas' Global Elite Law Firm Brand Index.

The Baker McKenzie office opened in Lodz in 2016. Starting March 2021, Lodz attorneys will be practicing in a new location. The company has leased over 500 sqm of office space from Skanska.

– Expending our Lodz office is part of our strategy, which we have been successfully implementing since 2015. We started with a few attorneys, and now we have nearly thirty people in our team in Lodz. Our choice of Brama Miasta, one of the most prestigious office complexes in the city, proves how important we consider our presence in Lodz – says Piotr Rawski, Managing Partner at Baker McKenzie.

– We are convinced that choosing Brama Miasta will help Baker McKenzie strengthen its image as a dynamic, innovative and trend-setting company and that our office building will be appreciated by both the attorneys themselves and their clients – says Małgorzata Wojtoń, Leasing Manager at Skanska office unit. – One of the strengths of Brama Miasta is the high quality of architecture, which goes hand in hand with the international reputation of Baker McKenzie.

Brama Miasta consists of two buildings with nearly 42,000 sqm of office space, as well as well-thought-out urban space, which includes a wooden amphitheater. The complex is a multi-functional zone open to all residents. It has become a permanent part of the Lodz landscape and is a landmark of the New Center of Lodz.

Brama Miasta provides not just offices, but also art and amazing views. In the lift halls there are comic-book motifs referring to Lodz and presenting the city through interesting cartoons. The last, thirteenth floor of the buildings offers a panoramic view of the entire city.

The office building has won many awards in prestigious architectural competitions, including ICONIC AWARDS 2020, organized by the German Design Council, one of the most important institutions in the world in the field of design and architecture expertise, as well as the Property Design Awards 2020. The project also won the Pearls of Lodz competition, which is awarded by Lodz residents themselves.
