Now, this innovative and sustainable office project has gained another tenant.

– We are thrilled to create our new GBS Center in Wroclaw that offers highly-skilled, multilingual talents in a well-established and thriving ecosystem. During our first months, selection of the right office location was one of our key priorities to create a modern office that will become destination of choice. In that regards, we were looking for an office building that environmental sustainability is in focus, well-being of our employees and the smart technologies are highly supported. We are convinced that Centrum Poludnie, advanced Skanska building is the best solution to maximize the workplace experience of our employees while ensuring highest level of comfort and safety says Fatih Ozturk, Head of GBS Center Poland & Managing Director Boehringer Ingelheim Business Services Poland Sp. z o.o.

Boehringer Ingelheim is one of the 20 leading, innovative pharmaceutical companies in the world. The company conducts research and development, production and sales of innovative medicinal products with high therapeutic value for use in human and veterinary medicine. Boehringer Ingelheim has been present in Poland for 25 years and currently has 230 employees. In 2020, it was a supporting partner of the campaign "Badaj się i lecz” („Get tested and treated") addressed to all Poles. Boehringer Ingelheim has recently announced its 4th shared service center which will gradually become the GBS European central hub  in Wroclaw, Poland. The tenant will move in the Wroclaw office building in January 2022.

– Our client was looking for an office space that would combine many functions. However, it was crucial that the office space supported the Boehringer Ingelheim team in their daily work. A variety of spaces, a balanced work environment and a perfect location, all this has been found in Centrum Południe. It was a great pleasure for us to be able to help in this process – says Paweł Boczar, Director, Head of Wroclaw Office in CBRE.

– Centrum Południe is a place where we are focusing on one of the most important aspects - the well-being of the present and future employees. It depends primarily on high quality and futureproof solutions, appreciated by both local and international companies. We are glad that Boehringer Ingelheim has chosen Wroclaw and our office building out of such a wide, global competition – says Karolina Jamróz, Leasing Manager at Skanska's commercial development business unit in CEE. – We're proud for building such a strong partnership with a tenant who shares our values and sees them becoming “alive” in the spaces of Centrum Południe – adds Karolina Jamróz.

The first phase of Centrum Południe was recognized as the best sustainable project in the CIJ Awards Poland 2020 competition.
