We are a business that believes deeply in all that we do, strive to create positive impact on people, the planet, and products to do better for humanity, the earth, and our broader stakeholders. We are creating a new culture, which will help our people challenge convention and will enable new ways of thinking.  In our new home we are welcoming our new family members, who collaborate to co-create solutions to complex problems and build an inclusive environment where we surround ourselves with colleagues who make courageous choices and drive positive change – explains Shalinee Basak, Vice President Global Talent, Wella Human Resources.

– We are delighted that Wella Company has chosen Brama Miasta for its staff and that together we can provide them with the best possible conditions for their everyday work. A well-prepared and safe office is one of the essential factors for well-being of the employees and building relationships within both the teams and the entire organization – says Paulina Strutyńska, Leasing Manager at Skanska’s commercial development business unit in CEE.

Brama Miasta: safe and open

Brama Miasta consists of two buildings with nearly 42,000 sqm of office space as well as a patio with an amphitheater and street furniture – available to all residents. The investment meets the highest standards of workplace safety – this has been recognized by experts of International WELL Building Institute and confirmed by the WELL Health-Safety Rating certificate. Connected by Skanska – an innovative platform that integrates the management of various functions of the building and makes it possible to, for instance, enter the building using a smartphone – is operational there. At the same time, the building has been fully adapted to the needs of individuals with disabilities.

All roads lead to Brama Miasta

One of the main advantages of Brama Miasta is its convenient location. The office building is located near a woonerf – a home zone filled with restaurants and coffee shops, leading directly to Piotrkowska Street. The building is close to EC1, which serves cultural, artistic and educational functions. The proximity of the Łódź Fabryczna Railway Station facilitates comfortable access by train from Widzew and Koluszki, and soon also from other districts. Due to the construction of the underground railway city line, the employees will be able to travel to Śródmieście or Polesie within several minutes, and then further to Łódź Kaliska or Łódź Żabieniec stations. In addition, Brama Miasta is cyclist-friendly. The investment features 105 spaces for cyclists, locker rooms and showers.

Corten icon of Nowe Centrum Łodzi

Brama Miasta is the investment that has become an integral part of the landscape of Lodz as well as a landmark of Nowe Centrum Łodzi. The corten steel, rust-like facade of the building refers to the history of the city. Comic book motifs in the elevator halls of the office also allude to Lodz.

Brama Miasta has been awarded many prizes in prestigious architectural competitions, including ICONIC AWARDS 2020 organized by German Design Council or Property Design Awards 2020. The investment got the first place in the “Perły Łodzi” (The Pearls of Lodz) poll – this accolade is awarded by the residents of Lodz.
