Grand Press Photo is the only competition in Poland intended for people professionally involved in journalistic photography. Skanska is once again a partner of the competition sponsoring an additional award in the "Climate, Responsibility" category.
– The "Climate, Responsibility" category is especially important to us, because one of the pillars of our business activity is sustainable development and minimizing the negative impact on the natural environment, says Katarzyna Zawodna-Bijoch, President and CEO at Skanska’s commercial development business unit in CEE.
As part of the sponsorship, Skanska organized a photo competition for its fans on social media. The theme is "Sustainable City". To ensure that everyone can participate in the competition, including those who do not have professional photographic equipment, the submitted photos should be taken with a mobile phone or tablet.
This year, the winning works of the Grand Press Photo competition will be presented in the Wave office complex in Gdańsk. Thanks to this, the residents of Gdańsk and other guests will be able to conveniently view the best photos in Poland.
