Poznan is one of the most important IT centers in Poland. The capital of Wielkopolska is distinguished not only by the availability of highly qualified specialists, but also by a convenient location and high quality of life. Poznan is also a thriving academic center, thanks to which employers can choose from many young talented candidates. Nearly 25 fields of study related to the IT/ICT industry are offered at 7 universities. The Poznan magistrate, together with the companies operating here, even published a special guide - "Poznan - the city of IT". The guide was created for people who come to the capital of Greater Poland in search of a job in the information technology industry. Wunderman Thompson Technology has been operating in the IT department in Poznan for over a dozen years and is now adding another building block to the development of this sector in the city.

New technologies are being developed in Poznan

Wunderman Thompson is a global network that employs over 20,000 people in 90 countries. The company offers creative, consulting and technological services, including for international giants such as Microsoft, Samsung, Burger King and Adidas. As part of the Wunderman Thompson Technology division, it designs and runs complex technological environments that ensure the business development of its clients, including Ford, Aston Martin, Colgate, Coca-Cola, Shell and others. The entire WTT network consists of 4,000 experts in 54 technology centers in 33 countries. The company has been operating in Poland for 17 years. It has three centers - in Poznan, Bydgoszcz and Katowice - where it employs almost 400 specialists in programming, application testing and managing complex IT projects.

- As Wunderman Thompson Technology, the technological arm of the WPP holding company, we work every day for large brands using advanced digital solutions. We wanted our new space to fit the style of work of our specialists, programmers and engineers. We hope that both the place and the flexible arrangement will support the creative cooperation between teams. The surroundings of the building and infrastructure are also important, allowing you to reach the office by various means of transport - also from outside Poznan. We are glad that together with Skanska we will create a new WTT headquarters in Poland - says Marcin Stańczyk, Managing Director of Wunderman Thompson Technology.

- We design the spaces of our office buildings in such a way as to fully respond to the needs of business partners and adjust them to today's post-pandemic work model. Our Poznan project not only facilitates cooperation and allows to strengthen teams, but above all it is simply a convenient and user-friendly place where you want to spend time - says Małgorzata Wojtoń, Senior Leasing Manager at Skanska commercial development business unit in CEE, and adds - The green solutions, large spaces and an excellent location of Nowy Rynek are conducive to running and developing a business. We are pleased that our tenants also recognize that.

Not just a place to work

Building E will be ready in the second quarter of 2023. With its commissioning, Poznan will gain a unique meeting place - an internal market in the form of a park, open to all city residents and visitors. There will be trees, greenery and landscaping. Everything will be highlighted with garden lighting. There will also be a fountain in the square. There will be brine graduation towers next to one of the planned pergolas.  - This is a completely new quality on the market and a change in the thinking about office buildings, where the added value for the city and our immediate surroundings is as important as the quality of the offices themselves - says Konrad Ziejewski, Project Manager at Skanska commercial development business unit in CEE.

Nowy Rynek is located in the heart of the city, next to the Poznan Główny railway station. There are numerous service points and a shopping center in the area. Thanks to the bus and tram connection, it can be reached quickly and comfortably. All employees of the offices in Nowy Rynek E will also be able to use the extensive bicycle infrastructure, which includes 160 parking spaces, changing rooms with showers and repair stations. There will also be 234 parking spaces for cars and the building will include charging stations for electric cars.

Today, tenants and investors pay special attention to sustainable solutions in office buildings. Therefore, building E of the Nowy Rynek complex, similarly to the previous investment phases, is being constructed in accordance with ESG criteria. LED lighting and its management system will allow you to reduce energy consumption by up to half. Nowy Rynek E will be powered by energy produced in 100% from renewable sources. The office building will also use the so-called gray water – re-used water that can be used, for example, for flushing toilets or watering flowers.

The office building will be equipped with, among others a ventilation system with high-class filters that will provide up to 30% more fresh air. Adiabatic humidifiers will ensure proper humidity levels. Air conditioning based on a chilled beam system will work quietly guaranteeing a comfortable temperature and energy efficiency. The offices in the building will meet the requirements of the most important industry certificates, including LEED Platinum, WELL Core & Shell, WELL Health-Safety Rating and Building without Barriers.
