Press release 12/8/2022 9:11 AM CET

One of the leading global distributors of chemical raw materials is a new tenant of the P180 office building in Warsaw, developed by Skanska. The new tenant will have approx. 1,500 sq m of modern office space. The transaction process was facilitated by the consulting company Savills, who provided comprehensive commercial support.

P180 with the next tenant

P180, designed by PRC Architekci, was delivered in September. The building is located at an important communication junction, just 180 steps from the Wilanowska metro station. This convenient location allows access by various means of transport, which is appreciated by employees. They can also use the extensive bicycle infrastructure - parking spaces, a bicycle room with an entrance on the ground floor and locker rooms with showers. Skanska's Mokotów investment meets the standards of the most demanding certificates: LEED Platinum, WELL Core & Shell, WELL Health-Safety Rating and Building without Barriers.

– P180 is a multifunctional space, which can be arranged according to preferences. This is a very desirable feature for tenants whose employees prefer a flexible work model tailored to individual needs. Offices have become a place of integration and meetings, but spaces where you can relax or hold workshops and conferences are equally important – says Hanna Marszałek, Leasing Negotiator at Skanska commercial development business unit in CEE, and adds – Another important factor is that the building is eco-friendly, which helps our tenants achieve the company's goals in the field of sustainable development.

– Proximity to the metro station and an extensive bicycle infrastructure will ensure easy and ecological access to the P180 building for its future employees. This is an aspect that is crucial for organizations that want to have control over managing their climate impact as part of long-term ESG strategies. I am convinced that our client will appreciate the opportunities offered by this particular location in terms of reducing their carbon footprint – says Marcin Sabowicz, Director of the Tenant Representation team at Savills.

Designed in accordance with ESG

Skanska has been consistently implementing sustainable development goals for years, which reflects the strategic importance of ESG in the company's operations. The company takes the environment and the well-being of the community - both tenants and local residents – into consideration from the building design stage to its final implementation.

The P180 building has a number of features that reduce harmful CO₂ emissions and the level of pollutants in the urban air. The office building was constructed using innovative concrete with a reduced carbon footprint, and outside a special pavement was designed to neutralize harmful compounds from car exhaust fumes. The building has modern ventilation and filtration systems that provide 30% more fresh, clean air, as well as materials with low emission factors so that the air that employees breathe is of very good quality. There is also appropriate access to daylight and smart lighting inside the building controlled by Connected by Skanska. The building management system also allows for easy access throughout the facility without using traditional entry cards.
