Ayvens moves into the P180 office building in Warsaw

Press release 7/30/2024 8:30 AM CET

Ayvens Poland, a global leader in sustainable mobility, will join the tenants of the P180 office building developed by Skanska in the immediate vicinity of the Wilanowska underground station.

P180

Ayvens is a new brand and organisation created by two leading players in the vehicle rental and leasing industry – ALD Automotive and LeasePlan. The company, which is part of the Societe Generale Group, manages a fleet of 3.4 million vehicles in 42 countries, as well as the world's largest multi-brand electric vehicle fleet.

The merger of ALD Automotive and LeasePlan in Poland made it necessary for the organisation to move to a new shared office. Committed to a holistic approach to climate change, Ayvens was looking for an office that met the highest environmental standards and had excellent access to public transport. In the end, the company chose the P180 office building in Warsaw.

– In the context of integrating our companies into one organisation under the Ayvens brand, a shared office is more than just a workplace. In the new location we will all work on one floor, which will further unify our teams. The shared space not only facilitates daily cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experience, but also fosters a sense of belonging and unity among employees, which is very important to us – says Marek Małachowski, Managing Director of Ayvens. – In addition, the building is powered by energy produced on wind farms, which helps us to reduce our internal CO2 emissions. By 2026, we intend to reduce these emissions by 35%. To this end, we encourage our employees to use public transport. The entire team will receive city passes – adds Marek Małachowski.

– Solutions that encourage the use of low-emission transport are an integral part of the design of our developments. We are therefore delighted that an international company specialising in the development of sustainable mobility will be among the tenants of P180 – says Paulina Strutyńska, Leasing & Asset Director at Skanska’s Commercial Development Business Unit in CEE. – In addition, our new client is part of the Societe Generale Group, whose Polish branch moved into our Studio complex in Warsaw earlier this year. This is further proof of the trust our existing tenants place in us – adds Paulina Strutyńska.

Sustainable mobility gains momentum

People around the world are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits of low-emission transport. Warsaw, like other major cities in Poland, is streamlining its existing development strategies, planning both to modernise and build high-quality roads, comfortable pavements and cycle paths, and to improve the availability of sustainable public transport for as many residents as possible. For example, more than 200 electric buses are expected to be operating in Warsaw by 2025.

The location of the offices also helps to promote sustainable transport in the city. The availability and proximity of various modes of transport encourages people to use public transport for their daily commute. P180 is located next to the Wilanowska underground station and a green square with small architecture designed by Skanska. There are also numerous bus stops and cycle paths nearby, and the office building has a number of facilities for cyclists, including a glassed-in cycle area with access from the street, as well as a repair station, changing rooms and showers. The office building also provides parking and charging facilities for electric cars.

In 2024, P180 was awarded WELL Core & Shell certification at the Gold level. This document confirms that the office building meets the highest standards for healthy buildings.
