The international retailer Tesco will occupy 2,500 sqm of office space and move into their new office at Kapelanka 42 in December 2014. Tesco was represented in the lease transaction by Colliers International.

Apriso, part of Dassault Systèmes, a leading manufacturing software provider for aerospace, defense, automotive and electronics industries, will take up 2,440 sqm of office space in the complex. The decision to relocate the company’s Polish headquarters in Kraków is linked with the growth of their business. More space is needed as Apriso continues to look for talented people seeking a career in an innovation technology firm. The tenant will move in at the end of June 2014. Apriso was represented in the lease transaction by Hamilton May.

The canteen operator will take up 520 sqm. With the 1,400 sqm to be taken by Skanska Group local branches, the complex is now over 20% leased.

„Our new tenants represent various industries and business models, which reflects dynamic growth of Kraków as a business destination. We are excited to be part of the city’s expansion by providing companies with great workplaces in locations that best favor their development,” said Arkadiusz Rudzki, Leasing and Asset Management Director at Skanska Property Poland.

Kapelanka 42 will be a modern A class office complex including two buildings, each having 9 storeys above ground and 3 underground. The total leasable area of the project will be around 30,000 sqm. It will be completed in the third quarter of 2014. The attractive location ensures excellent access to public transport, with 8 bus and tram lines making it easy for the employees to get to work, both from city center and other districts of Kraków.

Kapelanka 42 has been precertified in the LEED system with a Gold rating. The complex was designed by the Medusa Group architectural studio and its general contractor is Skanska S.A. Skanska Property Poland is responsible for the commercialization of the scheme.
