Press release 9/8/2014 2:30 PM CET

Skanska Property Poland and HP Global Business Center have continued their cooperation. They have signed a lease agreement for Skanska’s flagship Wroclaw investment - Dominikanski office complex. HP has leased almost 16,400 sqm of office space. It is the biggest lease agreement in the history of Skanska in Central and Eastern Europe. The lease agreement is also the largest signed by HP GBC in Poland. Furthermore, according to CBRE, it is the most significant lease transaction of office space for Polish regional cities in 2014.

Dominikański, Wrocław

HP’s new office in Wroclaw will be located in both of the Dominikanski complex's buildings. The company will also lease 166 parking spaces. Hewlett-Packard’s unit, specializing in business services, plans to relocate to Dominikanski at the turn of 2015 and 2016.

However, this is not the first time that HP and Skanska Property Poland have cooperated. In 2009, they signed an agreement for office space in Grunwaldzki Center in Wrocław.

"Another lease agreement signed with HP is a result of a good business relationship that has developed between the two companies over many years. It also confirms the high quality of our buildings and proves that creating business through dialogue can be beneficial to both parties. Dominikanski has been tailored to the needs of such a big tenant as HP GBC. Our partner’s professionalism enabled us to perform the whole transaction seamlessly. We are proud that we could accompany HP's service center in its impressive growth in Wroclaw - previously, in Grunwaldzki Center, and today in Dominikanski. This is a great success for us", comments Katarzyna Zawodna, President at Skanska Property Poland.

For HP Global Business Center, Dominikanski merges its two previous office locations (Globis and Grunwaldzki Center) into one. The third office will remain in the historic Renoma building.

"The demands of our business, in order to fulfill our daily tasks, requires high quality office space that meet the highest standards and our specific requirements. While arriving at the decision to centralize two out of three of our offices we knew that Skanska Property Poland, a long-term partner, will meet our needs and prepare an office space that will give us the opportunity for efficient management and constant development. The Dominikanski investment is the most superb place for an office location, not only because of the standard it offers, but also due to its location in terms of communication, which is of great convenience for workers employed in our Center", adds Agnieszka Orłowska, Managing Director at HP Global Business Center.

In conducting the transaction, the tenant was assisted by CBRE, global real estate advisory firm. According to its data, it is the biggest lease transaction of office space outside Warsaw in 2014.

"We are proud of the fact that we have contributed to this significant transaction, one of the biggest on the Polish office market in 2014. The experienced CBRE Team has supported the tenant in the consolidation of two office locations in Wroclaw, and the negotiations of flexible lease terms. Dominikanski is a high-standard, prestigious building, located in the heart of the city. We are sure that HP employees will benefit from the numerous amenities offered by the new premises. In 2012, we assisted HP with choosing its Lodz business location and are happy to continue cooperating with such a prestigious tenant", commented Daniel Bienias, Senior Director - Head of Tenant Representation, CBRE.

Dominikanski is Skanska Property Poland’s fourth, flagship investmentin Wroclaw. This modern, green, A class office complex is being developed in one of the city’s prime locations near Dominikanski Square. Furthermore, Galeria Dominikańska is in close proximity, with the Market Square just a few minutes’ walk from the office building. The complex has been designed as an open space that blends in perfectly with the urban surroundings. There will be an open patio with greenery and a pleasant landscape design as well as restaurants and other services.

The space available for lease in Dominikanski will total 40,000 sqm. The building’s tenants will have a two-storey underground parking lot with 370 lots at their disposal. The complex will undergo LEED Gold certification.

Dominikanski has been 52% leased, approx. 10 months before its scheduled completion.
