Promotions and new responsibilities in the Communictions and Marketing department of Skanska Commercial Development Europe

April brings significant changes in Skanska’s communications team.

Jakub Zagórski in the new role will be in charge of implementing strategies of sustainable growth in Skanska and developing a novel approach to designing office buildings in Central and Eastern Europe. As Green Business Manager he will be responsible for the Polish, Czech, Hungarian and Romanian markets. Jakub joined Skanska in 2011. So far his duties have included shaping the company’s communications strategy, as well as developing, implementing and overseeing marketing plans. He will be replaced as Communications and Marketing Manager by Anna Wiśniewska, who until now was Marketing Coordinator.

So far Jakub was involved in marketing management, focusing mainly on the internet and social media. He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology and also holds a Canadian MBA from the Warsaw School of Economics in cooperation with the University of Quebec at Montreal.

From 1st April Anna Wiśniewska will be the Communications and Marketing Manager of Skanska CDE. She joined the company in 2011. To date, at first as Marketing and Communications Specialist, and later as Marketing Coordinator she was responsible for such Skanska office projects as  Green Corner in Warsaw, Green Horizon in Lodz and Green Towers in Wroclaw. Over the past year she also worked on external communications.

In her new role she will be responsible for the Marketing and Communications team in Poland. Anna will also coordinate the company’s marketing activities in countries where Skanska has a presence – the Czech Republic, Romania and Hungary. She will oversee both internal and external communications, as well as marketing activities for Skanska’s office projects. Anna graduated from Warsaw University’s Institute of Political Science and completed a scholarship at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago.
