Skanska Property Poland signed a contract with a branch of Deloitte, the global professional services firm, for the lease of office space in Dominikański office building, currently under construction. Skanska Group local branches will also move into the building.
Deloitte, represented in the negotiation process by a Polish branch of the multinational Knight Frank Group (real estate consultancy), leased 1,335 sqm of office space in the Dominikański building. The Wrocław branch of Deloitte will be relocated to the new office in October 2015, transferring from Grunwaldzki Center office complex, developed by Skanska in 2009.
“It is the biggest satisfaction for a developer, when the tenant chooses our building again with a subsequent office move. There can be no better quality certificate for our projects,” said Arkadiusz Rudzki, Leasing and Asset Management Director at Skanska Property Poland.
“While relocating our office in Wrocław, Deloitte will increase the space occupied, corresponding with the growth of our operations in the Lower Silesia region. Planning the interior design of our new office will be an opportunity to create an innovative place to work, in line with our needs and the latest trends,” – said Barbara Mogielnicka, Administrative Director at Deloitte.
“We want to thank Deloitte for entrusting us with the task of sourcing a new office space for the company in Wrocław. During the process we succeeded in negotiating optimum lease conditions, at the same time ensuring the best office space quality,” said Dorota Kościelniak, Partner and Regional Director at Knight Frank Sp. z o.o., leading the company’s Wrocław branch.
Skanska Group local Wrocław branches will occupy almost 2,400 sqm in the Dominikański building. Their move to the new office is planned for September 2015.
“We already sign the first lease contracts, while the construction work is still at the ground level. This shows there is a lot of interest in the Dominikański building. We are aware this project is important not just for the business community. Wrocław has been waiting for many years for the development of the area close to Dominikański square. We are developing a modern office building featuring original architectural design and offering attractive public space around. The future users of the complex will enjoy comfortable and friendly working environment,” added Arkadiusz Rudzki.
Dominikański is an A class office complex, currently under development in the center of Wrocław, at the junction of Piotra Skargi, Wierzbowa and Oławska streets, close to Dominikański square. It will offer a GLA of approximately 40,000 sqm, making it the biggest office project currently under construction in Wrocław. The large space gives prospective tenants ample growth opportunities within one location. The floor plans from 5,300 to 6,100 sqm enable flexible interior arrangement in line with tenants’ needs. A two-level underground car park offering 372 parking spaces is planned in the building, with a parking for bicycles also to be provided. At the moment, finishing works are carried out on the construction of the foundation plate for the two phases of the project. The external walls at the -2 level in the first building have already been built, and the ceiling over this level is currently under construction.
Dominikański complex is developed in line with the green building principles and has been precertified in the LEED system with a Gold rating. Architectural project comes from the Medusa Group. Skanska S.A. is the general contractor, while Skanska Property Poland is in charge of commercialization. The first stage of the project will be completed in the second quarter of 2015.
