We built viaducts along Golęcińska and Lutycka Streets over the Poznań-Piła railway line. The construction of a collision-free crossing over the tracks greatly facilitates the daily commute to work or school for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. Previously, there were level crossings with barriers at this location, and each train caused traffic to stop and created traffic jams.
In addition to the overpass on Lutycka Street, a footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists was built over the tracks, providing safe and convenient access to green recreational areas in the vicinity of the nearby fort and easier access to residential areas in Strzeszyn.
We have also rebuilt the road layout along the section from Homera Street to Szczawnicka Street. Drivers can now drive without collision not only over the tracks, but also over Podolańska Street, as part of the investment we have built a new section of this street along the railway tracks, between Szczawnicka and Lutycka Streets.
Szczawnicka Street was also renovated on the section from Lutycka Street to Podolańska Street, and the intersection with Lutycka Street was equipped with traffic lights. In addition, pedestrian and bicycle paths were built under the viaduct on Lutycka Street, on both sides of the railway tracks and parallel to them.
