Providence Newberg Medical Center (PNMC), constructed to replace the outdated Providence Newberg Hospital, is one of the most technologically advanced and sustainable hospitals in the US and was the first hospital in the world to be certified as a LEED® Gold Hospital. The $47 million facility opened in June 2006, and is fully able to meet the needs of a growing Yamhill County. The 185,000-SF campus sits on a 56-acre site and features 45 inpatient beds, 14 emergency room beds, specialist radiology, cardiology, respiratory, emergency, and MRI departments, clinic space, exam/treatment facilities, and a healing garden.
