Restoration of the Starost's Manor House historic complex in Leżajsk was one of the most interesting and most satisfying tasks realized by Skanska in the region of Podkarpacie.
The original wooden Starost's Manor House was erected probably in the first half of the 16th century. Over the years it was destroyed several times. The brick Manor House, which was subject to renovation, was built in the years 1760 - 70 for Józef Potocki, the Starost of Leżajsk.
Our company renovated the Manor House itself as well as three outbuildings and restored these exceptional objects to their the past magnificece. Thanks to careful renovation and restoration, this squalid and abandoned building complex transformed into a real gem.

Benefits for the community

Thanks to the reaized works the town gained cultural and educational object which ioncreased tourist attrcativeness of Leżajsk. The renewed buildings house the following institutions: Museum of the Leżajsk District, Cultural Information Centre and Amateur Art Gallery.
The Starost's Manor House is a very important place in the cultural life of the region, where soirees, symposiums and lectures take place. The Starost's Manor House is the pride of Leżajsk.
